Used in the evaluation of the circularity of a system, circular inflows are either:

  • renewable inflows, used at a rate in line with natural cycles of renewability, or
  • non-virgin inflows.

The circularity performance of an organization is measured with reference to the percentage of circular inflow and the percentage of circular outflow of materials used.
