China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER) Scheme

Voluntary Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions scheme certified by the Government of China. The scheme forms an important component of China’s national carbon trading market, the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). The scheme was relaunched on 2022 after being terminated 2017 – five years after its first launch, in 2012.
