An alliance for regional development covering democracy, socio-cultural and economic development, sustainable management of natural resources and improving environmental quality. A regional strategy for the coordination and consultation of interests, development initiatives, responsibilities and harmonisation of rights, signed in 1994 by the presidents and representatives of the Republics of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
