1. Made by people or resulting from human activities. Usually used in the context of emissions that are produced as a result of human activities.

2. The belief that humans are the central or most significant entities in the world. Anthropocentrism considers humans to be “separate from and superior to nature and holds that human life has intrinsic value, while other entities … are resources that may justifiably be exploited.”
